Meet ROY!
ROY, aka Resources Online for Youth, is central Indiana’s new online, searchable database of youth activities and opportunities. ROY is a tool to connect young people and families to quality youth programs in their area, as well as to assess the state of youth programming in the community.
- ROY Connects Youth & Families to Services & Programs
Young people and their families use ROY’s interactive website to explore all the activities available in our community. ROY searchers will find current and comprehensive information on programs ranging from church youth groups to computer programming classes.
- ROY Increases Access to & Participation in Programs
Organizations are in control of their own listing, so their information is always current and accurate. After an organization creates a profile, they can log in at any time to update information about their organization or add programs and events. And because so many search options exist, young people and families will connect with targeted programs at the click of a button.
- ROY Expands Reach & Improves Quality of Programs
MCCOY uses ROY's data to identify strengths, pinpoint gaps and find barriers to participation in youth programs and services. Analysis of this data will inform MCCOY's Ready by 21® Quality Counts effort to improve the quality and reach of programs in central Indiana by directing funding and resources to areas where they are needed most.
