MCCOY brings the community together to find innovative ways to address youth issues through open dialogue between youth workers, community advocates, young people, and many others. From small forums to full-scale symposia and events, we work to bring meaningful collaboration through partnerships around positive youth development.

 

MCCOY convenes community leaders and local area experts around the following initiatives:

Early Intervention & Prevention (EIP) -helps vulnerable families resolve problems and avert crises through quality prevention services. EIP will improve health, safety, and academic outcomes, reduce the need for child welfare and juvenile justice involvement, and make wiser use of limited resources on public services.eip logo

Student Success Initiative (SSI) - coordinates community organizations and activities to reduce the number of high school dropouts in Marion County and works to ensure all students have an equal opportunity to succeed in school and life.graduation hat
